This fella has been sitting on the top of MIC hierarchy for the last 33 years, even more than Mahathir being the PM. And yet, he doesn't think that his party will be able to sail without him being the captain.
Last week, his former Youth deputy chief, Mr Mugilan hold a gathering for a movement he initiated to oust the Big S, Gabungan Anti Samy (GAS). 3000 attended the meeting, eventhough they initially expected the attendence to be around 15K. Still a success, Mugilan insisted.
What make Samy Vellu a joker is that he thinks that whoever opposing him, actually opposing his party. He even promised to destroy whoever try to destroy his 'party', but in actual fact, people now see him as the stumbling block for his party to move.
When you are in power for so long, you tend to think that you own the party. "Lu pikir ini parti, bapak lu yang punya?"
